COOKIES. Capital letters. Oval plaque. Bow on top. Holly wreath around it. Subtle was an option. It was not chosen.
Holly runs the full circumference. Berries in clusters. Beaded rims, top and bottom. The lid lifts off and is sculpted in holly too, because stopping at the jar was never seriously considered. A ribbed finial up top, sized for exactly one very small pinch. Hand-antiqued pewter finish, so every leaf stands up off the surface.
25mm tall. About a foot at full size. The correct size for a cookie jar in December.
Counter, mantel, or the table where the milk goes on Christmas Eve. Fill it with miniature cookies or don’t. Empty on arrival. Historically accurate by December 26.
Part of the Christmas collection. Every piece is listed separately and sets the same scene. Only the cookie jar is included in this listing.
